N'Djamena - The Moroccan medical aid sent to Chad, within the framework of the aid granted upon the high instructions of HM King Mohammed VI to several brotherly African countries to support them in their efforts to fight against COVID-19, shows the good relations of cooperation and brotherhood between the two countries, said Tuesday the Network of Journalists for Humanitarian and Sustainable Development in Chad (RJHDT). "This solidarity gesture of solidarity, if need be, demonstrates the good long-standing relations of cooperation and brotherhood between the two countries and shows the perfect understanding between their two leaders, His Majesty King Mohammed VI and His Excellency Idriss Deby Itno, who continue to undertake concrete actions to raise bilateral relations to their highest level," the RJHDT pointed out in a letter sent to the Embassy of the Kingdom in N'Djamena.

The Network of Journalists for Humanitarian and Sustainable Development in Chad congratulated His Majesty King Mohammed VI and the Moroccan people for the exceptional solidarity spirit expressed towards the Chadian people through this aid. The Moroccan medical aid was received Monday evening in N'Djaména at a ceremony held in the presence of the Advisor to the President of the Republic in charge of education and scientific research, Hissein Massar, Minister of Health, Mahmoud Youssouf Khayal, and the Moroccan ambassador to N'Djaména, Abdellatif Erroja. HM King Mohammed VI gave his very high instructions for sending medical aid to several brotherly African countries. The aid is intended to provide protective medical equipment to support the brotherly African countries in their efforts to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. It is composed of nearly 8 million face masks, 900,000 visors, 600,000 hygiene caps, 60,000 coats, 30,000 liters of hydroalcoholic gel, as well as 75,000 packs of chloroquine and 15,000 packs of Azithromycin.
