According to the official statistics, every three days there is an AIDS infection new case in Algeria.
The total number of cases since the onset of the AIDS epidemic in the country is 6472 and 1422 people suffer from it.
Meanwhile, these official figures are widely disputed by investment professionals on the ground which estimate 30,000 the number of aids sufferers in Algeria, say the medias.
The trend is on the rise and the report has much to be alarming though Algeria is ranked among the countries with a low prevalence rate of people living with HIV . It 's less than 1%.
